Reviews

I have been going here for the last 3 years and I could not be happier with the staff and services I have recieved. I have many flash tattoos from many of the artists as well 2 cartilage and a nose piercing done. Everything has healed well and the staff are all very knowledgeable and kind. Currently I am 8+ long sessions in on my realistic b&g sleeve, all done by Ryan. Everything has come out perfect and I would 100% reccomend him to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Got my a copy of my dads tattoo (his initials) in memory of him and they copied absolutely perfectly. The staff there were just wonderful. Every thing was super clean, prices are FANTASTIC! 100000% will be coming back. Thank you for making this a wonderful time for me!

Makayla Ployer

came here for a nose piercing, it was done exactly where i wanted and i’ve had no issues with it at all! the healing has been great, everyone was very nice and the whole process took about 20 minutes. we’ve gone back with a couple follow up questions and have always been treated respectfully and kindly. definitely will be going back!

I walked in not knowing if i was going to get my cartilage pierced or not. The owner discussed the process and price and i was very comfortable with getting it. She got me in right away, she was very geuine and kind. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes from the time i walked in to when i walked out but thats because we got hung up talking with the tattoo artist haha. My piercer was very professional and did an amazing job. I will be going back for future piercings!

Brittany Frisk

Shantel was so fantastic with my nose piercing. She is experienced, calm, and extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend her for any of your piercing needs!

Hannah Ochieng

This was the best shop I’ve been to in Greeley! The piercer and tattooer were so nice and they helped me and my friend pick a piercing out. The process was as so fast and not painful at all!!! Definitely go here for your piercings!

What sets us aside from other shops?

How Our Shop Performs Piercings vs. Piercing Guns

At our tattoo shop, piercings are performed with professional single-use sterile needles rather than piercing guns. This method is safer, more precise, and much gentler on the tissue. Piercing guns use blunt force to push jewelry through the skin, which can cause unnecessary trauma, scarring, and a higher risk of infection. Our needle method allows the tissue to be pierced smoothly, which promotes better healing and reduces complications.

What Makes Us Unique
One of the things that sets our shop apart is our dedication to client comfort and safety. We are unique in that we offer the option of numbing with lidocaine under medical supervision for those who want a more comfortable piercing experience. This is especially important when working with children—we always numb children’s ears before piercing to minimize pain, reduce anxiety, and make the process as stress-free as possible.

By combining safe technique, sterile equipment, and medical-grade numbing, we ensure that every piercing is done with the highest standard of care and comfort.

We always suggest our clients dress in black, loose fitting comfortable clothing that has been washed in Lysol laundry detergent, or color safe bleach right before coming in. We also find that washing your body in a anti microbial and or antibacterial body wash also really helps prevent infection. Keeping up with these steps/rules after leaving with your tattoo or piercing will help prevent an infection caught in home as well. Be sure to never touch a reusable towel to your new tattoo or piercing. No matter how clean you may think it is.

DON'T FORGET YOUR GOVERMENT ISSUED ID & MINORS MUST HAVE THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!

Please see " How are piercings performed?" for your answer

This depends on many factors. Most of our artists will provide you with a aftercare bandage, or aftercare goodie bag for your piercing. If you are visiting our Littleton shop you can ask the owners about what aftercare they are currently carrying in their display cases.

Please do not bring us another artists work. we are happy to do something similar, but brining us a drawing another local shop did for you, and then asking us to do it is frowned upon.

Do not buy painted, plated, or coated jewelry. No clairs, spencers, body candy, and so on..

Do not use anything other than what we tell you to on your tattoos or piercings. no matter what google says.

FAQ

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

Taking proper care of your new tattoo is essential for healing and keeping your ink looking vibrant. We offer three trusted aftercare methods. Choose the one that works best for your lifestyle and skin type:

1. Healing with Second Skin (Protective Tattoo Film):
    •    Leave the Second Skin bandage on for 24–72 hours, as directed by your artist.
    •    If fluid buildup occurs, you can remove the first piece early and replace it with a new one if needed.
    •    To remove, peel it gently under warm water.
    •    After removal, wash the tattoo with mild, fragrance-free soap and pat dry.
    •    Moisturize lightly with a gentle, unscented lotion if the tattoo feels dry.
Benefits: Minimal scabbing, protects from dirt and bacteria, faster initial healing.

2. Healing with Ointment (Traditional Aftercare):
    •    Remove the initial bandage after 2–4 hours.
    •    Wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap.
    •    Pat dry with a clean towel (no rubbing).
    •    Apply a thin layer of a healing ointment such as Aquaphor, A&D ointment, or a tattoo-specific product.
    •    Reapply a small amount 2–3 times daily for the first few days. Switch to a lightweight, unscented lotion after the initial peeling stage begins.
Benefits: Keeps tattoo moisturized, reduces itching, classic healing method trusted by many artists.

3. Healing with Castor Oil (Natural Aftercare Option):
    •    After the initial wash (removing the bandage 2–4 hours post-tattoo), clean the tattoo with fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water.
    •    Pat the area dry completely.
    •    Apply a very thin layer of pure, cold-pressed castor oil to the tattoo.
    •    Reapply a light layer once or twice daily as needed — a little goes a long way.
    •    Avoid over-saturating the tattoo, and always wash hands before touching your skin.
Benefits: Natural anti-inflammatory properties, deeply moisturizing, great for sensitive skin or those wanting chemical-free healing.

Important for All Methods:
    •    Avoid direct sun exposure, soaking in water (pools, hot tubs, oceans), and picking or scratching the tattoo.
    •    Wear loose clothing over your healing tattoo.
    •    Always wash your hands before touching the tattoo.

Still have questions?
Feel free to contact your artist directly — we’re here to support you through the healing process!

How do I take care of my new piercing?

Proper aftercare helps your piercing heal cleanly and lowers the risk of irritation or infection. We recommend four safe methods. Choose the one that fits your needs best:

1. Cleaning with Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Soaks:
    •    Mix 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon of Pink Himalayan salt into one cup (8 oz) of warm distilled or bottled water.
    •    Soak a sterile gauze pad or clean cotton ball in the solution and gently press it against your piercing for 5–10 minutes.
    •    Do this once or twice daily.
Benefits: Natural minerals support gentle healing and reduce inflammation.

2. Cleaning with Saline Spray:
    •    Use a pre-made sterile saline solution (like Wound Wash or a pharmacy saline spray).
    •    Spray directly onto the piercing site 1–2 times per day.
    •    Allow the solution to air dry or pat gently with a clean, disposable paper product.
Benefits: Easy, mess-free, promotes healing without needing to mix anything.

3. Cleaning with NeilMed Piercing Aftercare Spray:
    •    Spray NeilMed Piercing Aftercare directly onto both the front and back of the piercing site.
    •    Use 2–3 times daily, especially after showering or exposure to sweat/dirt.
    •    Allow to air dry or pat with a clean, disposable paper towel if needed.
Benefits: Specifically designed for body piercings, with a fine mist for better coverage and minimal irritation.

4. Cleaning with Mild, Fragrance-Free Soap:
    •    Only use once daily to avoid over-drying.
    •    Choose a gentle, fragrance-free, dye-free liquid soap (such as Dr. Bronner’s Baby Unscented, Cetaphil, or similar).
    •    Gently lather around the piercing during a warm shower, rinse thoroughly with water, and pat dry with a disposable paper product.
Benefits: Cleanses without introducing harsh chemicals or irritants.

Important for All Methods:
    •    No alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or harsh antiseptics — they can damage healing tissue.
    •    Avoid twisting, turning, or moving the jewelry unnecessarily.
    •    Stick to disposable paper towels for drying; cloth towels can carry bacteria.
    •    Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and lakes during early healing.
    •    Hands off! Only touch your piercing with clean hands when cleaning.

Policies and Procedures
Thanks for taking a minute to learn about how we work.
WE KNOW THIS IS A LOT TO READ. And we appreciate you taking some of your own time to research our process. We get a lot of calls, texts, comments, messages, and emails.. and we simply do not have the extra staff to respond to inquiries containing the basic questions and instructions outlined here.
To expedite the process for everyone, if you do not follow the instructions for booking, you will be directed back to this policy. We hate to have to hammer this point in repeatedly on our website, social media, shop, and over the phone however we constantly receive an overwhelming amount of inquiries from folks who do not read the page and make things slower for everyone else.
If your question is NOT answered on here please feel free to message us, and we will answer as soon as we can do so.
Do you do piercings? Sell body jewelry?
Yes, and yes. Our piercing prices start at $70.00, and up. Our basic jewelry prices start at $10.00 and can go up to $100+. No we do not have an online catalog. We go through way too much jewelry too quickly to keep up with an online catalog.
Do you take walk-ins? How long until I can get a tattoo?
Tattoo sessions and consultations are available as a walk in if we have the availability. This varies day to day, but you are welcome to call first and ask if we are accepting walk ins that day.
FOR LARGER MORE DETAILED PIECES our artists require a consultation to get to know you and your tattoo idea before we book you an appointment for a future date. This allows an artist to put more into your design. Each artist has different availability and can discuss that with you during the consultation. Since our artists are typically booked out in advance, walk-ins are only available circumstantially. Please call ahead first.
So I want to make an appointment with an artist. Now what?
Well, first off, thank you for choosing us!! If you want a larger, or more involved or stylized tattoo, and have not yet chosen the artist you'd like to work with, we recommend doing a lot of research on the style, size and placement you're looking for in a finished tattoo, and work backwards from there to the right artist for the job. If you find an artist on our site with work in their portfolio that matches the style of work you want, you might be a good match! Choosing a tattoo artist is a very personal decision based on the final product you're picturing, so unfortunately we do not have the required staff available to help everyone choose an artist if they are not particular. We ask that you decide yourself who you're comfortable working with based on their portfolio.
Your next step is to contact the artist you'd like to work with and ask if they would like to take on your tattoo project; if they accept they will arrange a consultation (usually digital these days) and ballpark range for a single-session tattoo, or an hourly rate for a larger, multi-session tattoo. Our minimum price to set up for ANY tattoo (even smaller than a quarter with no color) is $75.00+ and they go up from there. We cannot give you a price range for a tattoo over phone or email.
What happens at a consultation?
It is super helpful to send any reference pictures of tattoos, artwork, or photos that you like the look of to help explain your ideas to your artist, but remember we are all custom artists, and will use your references as inspiration only and not directly copy someone else's tattoo that you bring in. Luckily for you, this will ensure that you get a super unique tattoo that is designed just for you. We do have a large library of reference material for you to check out, but do not have many pre-drawn ("flash") designs, with the exception of some drawn by our artists, and our sales. Since our artists all work in a set drawing style, we realize we cannot effectively tattoo 100% of styles. If you want a tattoo in a style that we don't feel like we can execute effectively, we will happily give you a recommendation for another artist, if we can, even if they don't work with us. We firmly believe that commissioning a tattoo is just that, commissioning a piece of custom artwork from an artist that you connect with. We prefer to tattoo a smaller amount of customers who "get" our work, to give as personalized an experience as we can. We hope you understand.
During your consultation your artist will discuss size, layout and placement with you, and if you like the direction they are going with it, they will take a deposit towards the tattoo to start work on your design and comes off of the price of the last session of the tattoo. This deposit is to ensure that you're serious about getting the tattoo you've discussed with your artist, and if you decide not to get the tattoo for any reason, do not show up to your appointment, or are over 30 minutes late, the deposit is kept as payment for the artist's time. We recommend you look over and understand our deposit and billing policy at the bottom of the page.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash only.
How should I prepare?
Be well rested, and eat a good meal two to three hours before your appointment. If you are hypoglycemic or diabetic, please inform your artist ahead of time. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that you would not mind getting dirty, and will grant access to the area we need to tattoo. Feel free to bring music or other entertainment (your phone, magazines, a tablet with a movie for very long sessions, anything you can enjoy without moving). It is always nice to be on time, if not a few minutes early, but please no more than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. State Law prohibits persons under 18 be unsupervised or with anyone other than their legal guardian/parent so please plan accordingly. We also recommend bringing a small snack and a sugary drink (it just can't be in the procedure area), especially if this is your first tattoo. Being tired, hungover or having low blood sugar can increase the discomfort level, which brings us to our next point: Can I drink or take pain medication before my tattoo?
No! Alcohol and aspirin thin your blood, making you bleed more than normal. This not only makes the job harder and your tattoo take longer, but excessive bleeding can make your tattoo heal improperly causing it to look faded and unattractive. As far as drugs go, we are not pharmacists and there is no way to tell how every drug will affect you being tattooed. Most importantly we want you in a clear state of mind and with the least possible chance of feeling ill during the tattoo. This is an exception of course for prescribed medications. Check with your doctor if you are not sure if it is safe to receive a tattoo on your medication. So please come in feeling like yourself, we won't tattoo you otherwise. And yes (because everyone asks), after the tattoo you can drink again after the first few hours (after bleeding has stopped), or take Tylenol or ibuprofen to help with swelling or pain.
Can I use numbing cream?
This is a discussion for you and your artist. Not you and google, you and YouTube, you and your friends, or you and Amazon reviews. This im needs to be discussed prior to your appointment so we don't have to turn you away when you come in, which can cost you your deposit.. not to mention the wait time to get rescheduled.
What's next?
After your consultation, we take a deposit to secure your appointment spots and start working on your design. We have a copy available here for your reference, of our policies on changes and cancellations to your design or appointment. Thank you for your cooperation in this, as short notice changes to our schedule cause us to lose tattooing and drawing time, when other clients are waiting for availability as well. We truly appreciate your understanding. Please remember most artists will ask you to come in to see your drawing if you ask for a copy to protect their work.
Deposit Policy
A tattoo deposit is paid after a consultation with an artist to begin work on a tattoo design, and to hold a tattoo appointment thereafter. The amount of the deposit is $100+
All tattoo deposits are non-refundable.
For multi-session tattoos, the deposit will be held as payment towards the last hour of the last session of the tattoo.
Upon paying a deposit you acknowledge that you have communicated your tattoo design idea to the artist to your satisfaction, and have reviewed the artist's prior works to decide that the artist can implement your idea to your satisfaction. Please understand that creating a tattoo design based on a client's concept is subjective, and that variations may exist between your concept and the finished design. If the finished design is not to your liking, minor changes will be made at the artist's discretion. However, substantial changes to the design or the request of an entirely new drawing or draft will require a new deposit, and the original deposit will be forfeited as payment for the artist's drawing time.
No Drawings or drafts are emailed or otherwise previewed to clients before their scheduled appointment time.
A deposit will also be forfeited in full in the case of: I do not appear for a tattoo appointment;
I cancel or reschedule an appointment without giving at least 48 hours' notice;
I reschedule an appointment within 48 hours more than twice;
I arrive more than 30 minutes late to a tattoo appointment;
I fail to reschedule a new appointment within 7 days of a cancelled appointment;
I fail to reschedule an appointment within 7 days of being contacted with the phone number or email given;
I arrive to a tattoo appointment without government-issued identification.
Billing Policy
Clients will be billed at the artist's rate, starting when the physical application of the tattoo begins and ending when the piece is completed to the artist's satisfaction.
We do not accept pre-payments. We do have hand-designed gift certificates that you can purchase if you wish, but you are solely responsible for keeping the physical copy until your appointment.
Refund Policy
Needles, ink, jewelry, and modifications can not be returned. Legally our tools cannot be reused, nor would anyone want that. So before getting any work done please truly make sure this is what you really want. Refunds in our industry are just simply not a thing.
Congrats! You made it! We thank you so much for taking the time to read and review our policies and procedures. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns that were not covered here! Hope to see you soon!
